Libby Bernick, P.E., LEED AP

 
   

Libby is an expert in the field of environmental management. For more than 25 years she has developed policies, integrated programs, or designed specific solutions for a diverse set of multinational clients to help them achieve sustainability and environmental goals. Drawing on her broad technical background and hands-on management experience, she provides strategic analysis, research, and technical writing to private clients on sustainability, communications and marketing, and green product branding. For clients needing discrete support on specialized assignments, she provides project management support and is able to lead multidisciplinary teams while engaging stakeholders and distilling complex analyses for diverse multicultural audiences.

Ms. Bernick was the former founder of a specialty engineering firm, serving a select group of Fortune 100 corporations on multi-year assignments. Previous positions also included Environmental Sciences Instructor at Philadelphia University, Project Manager for a large engineering design firm, and Supervisory Engineer at the US Environmental Protection Agency. She holds a MAS in Civil/Environmental Engineering and a BA in Chemistry and Biology from the University of Delaware.

 
       
 

Anne Crowley

 
    Anne Crowley has a breadth of experience in communication and marketing. She did marketing and sales for a publicly traded software and services company. She has also worked in secondary and post-secondary education and government. Initially trained in psychology, she served as a teacher and school psychologist in school districts in several regions around the U.S. She received a B.A. in psychology, and an MS in school psychology, and an MA in government. The MA in government focused on state and local policy and related political issues. She was appointed as a Governor's Fellow in Virginia. In 2006 she ran for the Pennsylvania State Legislature. She has over 20 years of experience building networks of citizen involvement in community service and action. She also serves on boards in public health, mental health, and education. She founded Anne Crowley Associates.

Jesse Elmore

 
   

Jesse Elmore has been a freelance graphic designer since 2003. After completing a degree at the College of Wooster in 1997, he began working in the publishing industry as a designer and has received formal training in graphic design from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. Jesse specializes in print design, but also has experience producing successful designs for the web.

George Hermelink’s creative excellence in graphic design has been recognized with countless national and international awards, including Clios, Andys, Effies, the One Show, and the Cannes Gold Lion. He has developed powerful print, broadcast, web design, packaging, communications programs, and environmental graphics for such companies as Pepsi, Frito Lay, Marlboro, Tabasco, Oscar Mayer, SC Johnson, J Walter Thompson, BBDO, and Leo Burnett. He has also taught Advanced Advertising Design at the University of Missouri and Marketing Communications at The College of St. Thomas in Minnesota.

Annie Levy

 
   

Annie Levy is a photographer/exhibition developer. She conceptualizes, creates, and designs projects that engage, inform, and educate—serving to bring organizations and ideas to life for the viewing public through a variety of media. Her current projects include the development of an intergenerational photo workshop curriculum and an image/identity creation project for a New York City rehabilitation center within a hospital. Ms. Levy holds a BFA from NYU Film School and an MSW from Hunter School of Social Work.

  Wendy Ronga, Hampton Design Group  
   

Wendy Ronga is creative director for her studio Hampton Design Group, she makes the words of a book, magazine, advertising or marketing piece come alive in a way that makes people want to pick them up and read them. Prior to starting her own firm, she was a creative director at Scholastic, Inc., and Prevention Magazine. She holds an MFA in Media Studies from the New School for Social Research and a BA in Communication Design from the Parsons School of Design.

 
       
 

David Sawyer

 
   

David Sawyer is a leadership educator and advisor with 20 years of experience in the public, private, and social sectors. He directed leadership and service-learning programs at Berea College and received the Points of Light award from the White House in 1993. Sawyer traveled to India in 1990 and met with the Dalai Lama and Tibetan officials to help design a Tibetan refugee education program. He helped launch the nation’s Americorps program, and in April of 1997, led a delegation to the Presidents' Summit for America's Future. In the spring of 1998, David was honored with The Servant Leader Award by the National Youth Leadership Council. He helped develop a national fellowship program for social entrepreneurs, and served as executive-in-residence for the Kauffman Foundation, promoting citizen engagement and innovation. Most recently he served as the Executive Director of Social Venture Partners Portland and is President of the consulting firm Context.

Jonathan Wajskol

 
   

Jonathan Wajskol is an Italian designer with one foot rooted in European design and the other firmly planted in lower Manhattan. Wajskol was born and raised in Milan, where he studied design and marketing. Wajskol has 20+ years of experience in the field of visual communication, working for nonprofit institutions as well as the corporate sector. Wajskol has been working with John Beilenson since 1987. His expertise spans from print, new media, and packaging to corporate design programs. His involvement with Strategic Communication & Planning ensures a seamless integration of strategic visual and verbal communications, from the planning stages to completed product development. Wajskol has been teaching communication design for the last 18 years. Currently he is a faculty member at Parsons School of Design in New York City. He has received numerous awards both in America and Europe, and he has been featured in magazines, newspapers, and books.
