Connie Hofmann joined the SCP team in 2006, bringing 20 years experience in corporate communications, media relations, and brand management in both for-profit and not-for-profit environments.

As Director of Communications for Wolters Kluwer Health, a medical publishing and online solutions company, she developed and directed a tiered strategic communications strategy to multiple audiences including employees, management, board members, stockholders, business and trade media, and key customers. This role included overseeing branding, public relations, websites, and other communications for key product brands Lippincott Williams & Wilkins, Ovid Technologies, Adis, Medi-Span, Facts & Comparisons, and ProVation Medical.

While with Catholic Health Initiatives, she directed internal and external communications for the eastern region of this 70-hospital national health system. Her responsibilities included branding, web development, public relations, crisis communications, and internal communications. Prior experience includes advertising account management and copywriting, both on the agency and client side.

Hofmann holds a Masters in Business Communications from Temple University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Duquesne University, Pittsburgh. She serves on the steering committee for the Brain Tumor Society's Race for Hope-Philadelphia.
