Connie Hofmann joined the Strategic Communications & Planning (SCP) team in 2006, bringing 20 years experience in corporate communications, media relations, and brand management in both for-profit and nonprofit environments.
In addition to developing and implementing comprehensive communications strategies, Connie supports SCP clients in brand development, strategic messaging, and media relations. Connie's depth of experience and expertise help SCP's nonprofit clients ensure that their most important messages are heard by the audiences that matter.
Previously, as Director of Communications for Wolters Kluwer Health, a medical information company, Connie managed internal and external communications, including branding, public relations, and Web-based communications, supporting product brands Lippincott Williams & Wilkins, Ovid, Adis, Medi-Span, Facts & Comparisons, and ProVation. While with Catholic Health Initiatives, she led communications for the eastern region of this 70-hospital national health system. Her responsibilities included branding, web development, public relations, crisis communications, and internal communications.
Connie holds a Masters in Business Communications from Temple University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Duquesne University, Pittsburgh. She serves on the steering committee for the Brain Tumor Society's Race for Hope-Philadelphia.
As a wife and mother of two, spare time is an alien term to Connie. When not executing integrated communications strategies, she doubles as a taxi service for her children and environmentally friendly chef for her family. She also enjoys running, biking and reading - when time allows. |
