Christine Gherst joined Strategic Communications & Planning in January 2004 and served a variety of not-for-profit organizations for 15 years.

Before joining Strategic Communications & Planning in January 2004, Christine Gherst served a variety of not-for-profit organizations for 15 years. Most recently, Gherst served as director of organizational advancement at PathWaysPA, a social service agency in the Philadelphia area, where she was involved in public relations and communications activities, resource development, and staff training. She was also responsible for the agency’s quality assurance initiatives, outcomes measurement, and maintenance of accreditation by the Council on Accreditation for Children and Family Services.

Before receiving her degree in social work, Gherst was communications coordinator for Soroptimist International, a not-for-profit association of business and professional women.

Gherst received a BA in English from Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, PA, and an MSW from the University of Pennsylvania.
